In Patterns & Processes in Fish Diversity (OEB 130), Professor George Lauder's students create entries for the Encyclopedia of Life (EOL).  

This project has students work in pairs explore the botany of Harvard Square.  Students find a plant-related item to research and prepare a an abstract, a presentation, and a written report.  

Students confidentially comment on and grade each other's papers.  This offers them a chance to think critically about what makes a good paper.
