Welcome to Boston University's CCES page! The core of the Boston University module investigates the micro-foundations of public support for presidential unilateral action and the capacity of other political elites to influence public support for assertions of unilateral power. Both for this and other research purposes, the BU module also included an extensive battery of questions measuring judicial legitimacy. An additional set of questions explored various aspects of public attitudes toward science and environmental policy. Finally, the BU module included several experimental modules examining public attitudes toward the use of force.
