Eligibility & Registration

Eligibility

The Bridge Program is open to Harvard University staff, faculty, and Post doctoral fellows who receive tuition assistance program (TAP) benefits. Participants must have completed their initial probationary period and have maintained satisfactory job performance. Employees of Harvard contractors are also eligible. While our primary focus is serving the needs of hourly employees at the University, exempt staff may be eligible for some of our specialty classes including Advanced Pronunciation, Presentation Skills, and Business Writing. Contact the Bridge Program for more information about these classes.

Registration

Contact the Bridge Program to schedule an appointment to register for any Bridge services. Participants will need to be available for a minimum of one hour for registration and assessment. Bridge Program phone number: 617-496-2216

Assessment

Bridge staff members meet individually with participants and use a wide variety of assessment tools to place each individual accurately in classes and services that meet their abilities and interests.

Information for Supervisors/Managers

Bridge staff work closely with supervisors and managers to approve employee class schedules based on operational considerations. Supervisors/managers should contact the Bridge Program for information about referring employees, class scheduling, the approval process or any questions about your employee's participation.
