Mr. Ashon is a trained development practitioner with a focus on poverty reduction, education, health, governance, youth, gender empowerment and project/business management. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Planning and a Master of Philosophy in Development Studies from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom respectively. Prior to his studies at Cambridge, he worked as a teaching and research assistant at the Department of Planning for his national service. Mr. Ashon has been engaged in several projects with local and international organizations, among which include Care Ghana’s Innovation for Marginalized Girls in Education (IMAGE) project which enabled him to hone up his research and organizational skills to high levels. Mr. Maxwell Agyei Ashon is a Commonwealth Scholar.
