Jumana Badar is a first-year PhD student in Biochemistry, Cellular, and Molecular Biology program at Cornell University. She is interested in cancer biology focusing on genomic instability. She is actively involved in science communication by working with various K-12 STEM outreach programs at Cornell. She works with Sciencenter to promote and nurture community engagement and love for science. She serves as a member on MBG Diversity Council to advocate for inclusion within the Cornell community. In her free time, you would find her reading, hosting dinner parties or doing yoga somewhere.
