Work, Family & Health Network (WFHN) is an interdisciplinary team of researchers brought together by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to enhance the understanding of how workplace practices and policies impact work, family life, and health outcomes. In 2008, these researchers embarked on a five-year, multi-site, randomized, controlled trial of an intervention to change the work environment entitled the Work, Family & Health Study (WFHS).
