About the workshop

Our primary aim is to provide a venue in which faculty and graduate students can come together to discuss the application of digital methods within their own research. We want to provide a space – an informal yet productive space – for workshopping ideas, troubleshooting, presenting digital work in progress, and generally advancing the cause of innovation and experimentation in historical research. We envision this workshop within the broader landscape of courses, labs, research assistantships and training seminars that will equip our graduate students in particular to pursue the kind of scholarly agenda that is inspiring a new generation of historians and producing pieces of scholarship that are influencing the way we all think, write, and argue about the human past.
