Adam Marian Dziewonski passed away on March 01, 2016 after a brief battle with cancer. Adam was an exceptional scientist and leader whose imprint has shaped his field. He was also a generous mentor, friend, and colleague for many whose lives he touched. The memorial event is held in honor of the tremendous influence he has had on the Earth Science community and on friends, students, and colleagues.
