Carol Chanmie Yu

Carol Yu is a Research Analyst for Professors Daniel Koretz and Andrew Ho at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and contributes to research on accountability-oriented testing, effects of current test-based accountability systems, and evaluation of new reporting metrics. She recently received her master’s degree in Education Policy and Management from HGSE. During her graduate studies, she joined the Education Innovation Laboratory in investigating effective practices at high performing charter schools, with a focus on Reading instruction. Before arriving at Harvard, she taught in Southeast DC and in Changsha, China as a Yale-China Teaching Fellow. She also holds a B.A. in East Asian Studies from Yale University.
