Henry Lee Shattuck Professor of Education at Harvard Graduate School of Education

Daniel Koretz is Henry Lee Shattuck Professor of Education at Harvard. His research focuses on educational assessment and policy, particularly the effects of high-stakes testing on educational practice and the validity of score gains.  His current work focuses on the design and evaluation of test-focused educational accountability systems.  Before obtaining his doctorate in psychology, Dr. Koretz taught emotionally disturbed students in public elementary and junior high schools in Parkrose, Oregon.
