Kenneth L. Sperling
Kenneth L. Sperling is responsible for business strategy, thought leadership, and service innovation across Aon Hewitt's Health Exchange businesses. During his 20-year tenure with Hewitt Associates, Mr. Sperling has advised many Fortune 500 companies on their healthcare strategies, and is a respected resource to the Wall Street community on healthcare market trends. From 2005 to 2009, he was a senior vice president at CIGNA, working in both the National Accounts and Senior Segment organizations. Mr. Sperling continues to be a key resource on Aon Hewitt's healthcare reform team, advising members of congress and the administration in the development and implementation of healthcare reform legislation. Prior to assuming his current role, he was Aon Hewitt's global healthcare practice leader.
Mr. Sperling has been published in numerous trade and finance journals, and he coauthored the textbook, Fundamentals of Flexible Compensation. He has often been quoted in the New York Times, USA Today, and the Wall Street Journal and has appeared on CNN discussing benefit-related topics. Mr. Sperling is a frequent speaker both in the United States and internationally, and has testified before the United States Senate Finance Committee and House Ways and Means Committee. He serves on the advisory boards of the University of Connecticut's Health Management Program, the American Benefits Council, Optum Health, and Castlight Health. He has guest lectured at Harvard Business School, the Yale School of Management, and the Yale School of Medicine.
Mr. Sperling is a graduate of Duke University and earned an MBA from New York University.
