Welcome to the GMF
The Graduate Music Forum provides an informal setting for graduate students in the music department to discuss ideas and concerns regarding curricula, teaching, facilities, and social life. Events and activities from the past year have included: the institution of a Digital Humanities Workshop Series; a Title XI and OSAPR training session; the Music Department Wellness Initiative; a GMF-lead workshop as part of the Undergraduate Music Curriculum Review; and a trip to Flatbreads for some candlepin bowling!
The GMF also regularly organises conferences to share and discuss recent research with graduate students at other institutions. Check out the Conferences page for more details, and here for more information on the 2017 conference, "Black Lives Matter: Music, Race, and Justice", 3-4 February.
