The Harvard Library UX team is organizing a two day workshop focusing on touch technologies. Hosted by the Harvard Library, the LIBERACT Workshop will take place in Cambridge, Massachusetts February 28 - March 1. Presenters will touch on a wide array of devices and applications including but not limited to the SUR40 table with Pixelsense. The goal of this workshop is to bring librarians and developers together to discuss and brainstorm interactive, gesture-based systems for library settings. A list of featured projects can be found on the event website.
We wish to thank all of our sponsors and presenters for making this exciting event possible but wish to send a special shout out to Jud Harward of Arts and Humanities Research Computing, HUIT and Marilyn Dunn, Executive Director of the Schlesinger Library and Librarian of the Radcliffe Institute, for their vision and support at the crucial early stages of planning for this event.
