The Harvard China Fund organized a Peking University Student Field Trip on Education and Social Entrepreneurship in collaboration with Peking University (PKU) in China.
Chaired by Professor William Kirby, Chairman of the Harvard China Fund and Fernando Reimers, Professor of International Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, the program was designed to help 15 selected students from PKU understand critical issues and challenges facing global education.
The program offered different perspectives on education policy and explore innovative solutions for providing better educational opportunities in the world today. The field trip also allowed the students to observe and participate in the American education system and to interact with students at local high schools and at Harvard.
The PKU students were on campus from September 27-October 7, 2012. Click here for a full recap of their visit.
