Prior to joining the Health Careers Program, Brandon obtained a double major in finance and business law from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and his M.B.A. with high distinction in management and leadership from the University of Iowa.  His transition to healthcare began in November of 2011 when he had the opportunity to serve as mission director for a team of 40 medical professionals on a successful mission trip to Pokhara, Nepal.  The impact of this experience, among many others including prior medical missions, then led him to the University of Kansas Medical Center as a clinical research coordinator in the ENT department.  Outside of his current studies and responsibilities on HEPS, Brandon is a committed athlete, enthusiastic musician, weathered traveler and spirited humanitarian.  Be on your toes, he is shameless about recruiting and engaging others in our many volunteer opportunities!
