Shalom to all,
I am pleased to reinitiate the Judaism in Antiquity Workshop and invite you to present your papers (and papers-in-progress) before our audience of students and professors. The workshop is a relaxed venue for soliciting feedback, fine-tuning a paper or lecture, or otherwise tinkering with new ideas. We welcome contributions from graduate students, visiting fellows, and faculty from across the university in all areas relating to ancient Judaism, including (though not limited to) ancient biblical interpretation, Judaism in the Graeco-Roman world, rabbinic literature, etc.
We will have our first meeting, a welcome/informational session, next Tuesday evening (2/7) at 5:30 PM in Room 201 of the Semitic Museum. As always, kosher refreshments will be served.
(Final dates and venues will be announced in upcoming mailings.)
