Ithaca Shakespeare Company
Productions are outside in Treman Marine Park.
Twelfth Night: July 7, 10, 14, 16, 22, 24 at 6 pm.
Henry VI: July 8, 9, 15, 17, 21, 23 at 6 pm.
Tickets are $25 for reserved seats and $15 for general admission. There is a 20% off discount for students (enter code STUDENT at checkout).
Plays at the Hangar Theatre
In the Heights is playing June 30 - July 16
Third is playing July 21-30
There are also some productions for kids: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe July 7-9, and Louis Braille: The World at Your Fingertips July 14-16.

Cinema Under the Stars at Cornell Cinema

Boating
Boating/kayaking/paddleboarding, at either Myer's Point or Taughannock Park Paddle-N-More http://paddlenmore.com/ or at Puddledockers http://www.puddledockers.com/ (near Greenstar).
Puddledockers takes reservations. Paddle-N-More is strictly first come first serve. Usually Puddledockers is easy to get to by bus, but note there is no TCAT bus service on July 4.
Horseback Riding
Painted Bar Stables http://www.paintedbarstables.com/index.html in Burdett is by appointment only for trail rides and requires closed-toe shoes, etc. See the website for details. The stable is close to Watkins Glen, with its state park.
Biking
Bikes can be rented at the Youth Bureau (call 607-273-8364 x 157) near Stewart Park or the Outdoor Store (607-273-3891) on the Commons.

Beautiful gardens and an arboretum. They offer some free guided walks.

Self-guided trails as well as free tours of trails and the building. Binoculars, and field guides may be borrowed for free between 10am and 4pm.

Most helpful sections are “popular destinations” and “all routes” in section RIDE.
There is some TCAT service on Saturdays and Sundays from downtown to Taughannock, Buttermilk and Treman State Parks.
There is no bus service on July 4.
