Nick Kapur received his PhD in Japanese history from Harvard in 2011 with a dissertation on "The 1960 US-Japan Security Treaty Crisis and the Origins of Contemporary Japan." He will be supporting the digital scholarship projects of the Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies and the Reischauer Institute of Japanese Studies and is based in the H.C. Fung Library. He is project manager of the Digital Archive of Japan's 2011 Disasters.
