Following up on our energetic gathering of faculty and doctoral students at Harvard last October, we would like to invite you to the Second Boston Community Meeting of Field Researchers to be held at MIT on May 21, 2011. We plan an all day event–featuring two panel sessions and two small group working sessions in which all those attending will have an opportunity to discuss in a most informal fashion their current work. Panelists will include Leslie Perlow (Harvard), Jean Bartunek (Boston College), Paul Carlile (Boston University), and Wanda Orlikowski and Susan Silbey (MIT. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided as well as an end-of-day reception.
The event will be held on Saturday, May 21st from 9am to 4pm. It will take place in the Executive Education facility at the Sloan School of Management on 100 Main Street. The venue is close to the Kendall Square T-stop and parking at MIT will be available.
Please let us know no later than Friday, March 11th if you can join us (RSVP: jvm@MIT.EDU). Details will follow.
We hope to see you there.
