In February 2010, IQSS sponsored a workshop that compared several qualitative data analysis software programs. Alison Denton Jones, a graduate student in sociology, organized the event. The handouts from the workshop are now available. You can access them below.
Some exciting qualitative courses will be offered during the Fall 2010 semester. Professor Natasha Warikoo of Harvard's Graduate School of Education will offer an Action Research course. Also, Professor Leslie Salzinger at Boston College will offer an Ethnography Practicum.
In January, IQSS held advanced training workshops on Atlas.ti qualitative analysis software. Crystal M. Fleming, a Ph.D. Candidate in Sociology at Harvard, instructed the workshops.
