Atlas.tiData Analysis and TranscriptionLinkAtlas.ti 6.0 is available for download through Harvard and is available in Harvard computing labs, including the HMDC labs.  Atlas.ti 6.0 is also available for purchase through the manufacturer's website, which offers student discounts and a free trial.  A new feature of Atlas.ti 6.0 is that it allows audio and video transcription and text-to-media synchronization.  The software runs natively on the PC, but can also be used on the Mac using an emulator, such as Parallels.

Express ScribeTranscriptionLinkExpress Scribe is a free audio transcription software program that is available online.  They offer versions for Macs and PCs.
f4TranscriptionLinkf4 is a free audio and video transcription software that is available online.  It can be synchronized with qualitative analysis programs, such as Atlas.ti and MAXQDA.  It runs on Macs, PCs, and LInux.
FrameWorkData AnalysisLinkFrameWork is available for purchase through the manufacturer's website, which offers student discounts and a free trial. The software runs natively on the PC, but can also be used on the Mac using an emulator, such as Parallels.

QualAnonData AnonymizerLinkQualAnon is available through ICPSR and has a web-based interface.
TAMSAnalyzerData AnalysisLinkTAMSAnalyzer is an open source software available online. The program runs on the Mac and Linux platforms.
