The application Deadline for fellowships for the 2017-2018 academic year has passed. All candidates will be notified, regardless of results, in March.
Who can nominate? If you are a Harvard staff member, faculty member, or student, and you know or have heard of someone who might benefit from this program, please consider submitting a nomination. Nominations are also accepted from concerned persons outside of Harvard, or directly from scholars, artists, and writers interested in applying for the fellowship on their own behalf. Whether nominations come from inside or outside of the Harvard community, all fellowships are for the 2017-2018 academic year and will take place at Harvard.
Nomination Forms: If you are a Harvard employee or student, please use the Internal Nomination Form. If you are not a member of the Harvard community, or if you are nominating yourself, please use the External Nomination Form. Both forms are below. Whether you nominate a scholar, or are nominating yourself, please arrange to have letters of recommendation, attesting to risk and importance of scholarly work, submitted directly to program director. There is no minimum or mazimum limit for letters, but three are suggested.
