The Writing Process - Beginning at Work

Thursday, October 15, 2020, 12:00pm to 1:00pm

This webinar gives students the basic skills to begin a first draft, including writing a precis, finding a model for your paper, gathering and organizing evidence, and shaping a good thesis question. Our goal here is not perfect, just planned out.

These valuable writing skills can be used to begin any piece of source-based nonfiction, whether in the realm of business, science, social sciences, or humanities. The webinar will end with a hands-on Q & A session.

This is the first of a two part series titled "The Writing Process".

Registration is required.
