Welcome to American Sign Language at Harvard!
American Sign Language is a new but vibrant academic field at Harvard. Beginning fall 2016, American Sign Language courses were taught for the first time in over twenty years. Now there are six levels of the language offered, with a strong support from the Department of Linguistics and students. ASL can now also be used to count for the Harvard College Language Requirement, and interested students can earn a language citation in ASL. Learn how to get involved in learning ASL, the Deaf Awareness Club at Harvard, fun and educational events, ASL research and more here at our website!
