The advance of high-throughput technologies such as microarray and next generation sequencing provides an unprecedented opportunity to study complex diseases through a systems biology approach. Our research is focused on the development of computational tools to study molecular mechanisms underlying cardiovascular disease and Alzheimer’s disease using multi-omics data. We are also developing machine learning models for the early diagnosis of diseases using a large collection of blood biomarkers, images, digital data, and electronic health records. Our objective is to develop new strategies for the disease prevention and risk stratification, and intervention.
