Sarah McKetta

Sarah McKetta is a social epidemiologist whose work focuses on measurement of structural stigma using multiple empiric approaches ranging from laws and policies to social attitudes. Her work also includes examining how changing gender structures impact substance use, women’s health, and sexual and reproductive health. She is a long-term friend, mentee, and collaborator of the lab and is currently continuing her training as a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard Medical School. She graduated with a BA in Biological Anthropology from Harvard University in 2008; an MS in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Harvard School of Public Health in 2012, with a focus on women, gender, and health and health communications; and an MD/PhD in Epidemiology from Columbia University in 2022.
