Dr Salar Sajedi
Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Massachusetts General Hospital
Dr. Sajedi is working on the development of novel optical and gamma imaging systems. Dr. Sajedi joined Choilab in GCMI at MGH/HMS in April 2018 after receiving his Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from Tehran University of Medical Sciences. His main research area is to investigate new gamma and near infrared (NIR) detection systems and improve detection and imaging quality by using novel technologies in optical and gamma imaging. He also works on developing new NIR II imaging system to increase imaging depth and improve image resolution. For the gamma detection, he also works with Sabetlab in same center with focus on developing new gamma detectors using novel laser processing methods.
