Central Asian Student Association at Harvard (CASA Harvard, https://hgc.harvard.edu/usg) is a university-wide student organization that aims to represent and unite Harvard students from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and other Turkic countries of unique cultures of related heritage. The organization will respond to the social and cultural needs of Central Asian students and other Turkic countries, which are but not limited to interaction with local communities, faculties, alumni, undergraduates, graduates, MPA, MBA, and Ph.D. graduates at Harvard and share and appreciate our common values; promote cross-cultural awareness that is based on mutual respect and understanding of Central Asian cultures within Harvard by bringing everyone together; organize educational and cultural activities, seminars, professional and personal development courses, guest lectures, festivals, art performances, and cultural movie screenings. Through events that bring Central Asia to the fore and stimulate further dialogue, we will reach out to students across Harvard University and beyond and bring to life the culture of Central Asia at Harvard.
