This lab is seeking volunteer research assistants with strong interests in the field of Mind, Brain & Education. Our projects cover a wide range of issues in cognitive developmental psychology and education, such as the development of reading ability and difficulty, metaphors for abstract thought, arithmatic cognition and the understanding of non-literal language (such as deception and metaphor) in early childhood.Please find more detailed descriptions at http://projects.iq.harvard.edu/chen/people/chen-chen

RA duteis include recruiting participants, aiding in designing and conducting experiments, collecting and analyzing data. A minimum of 8-10 hours/week is expected.

This is a good opportunity for those who are motivated to pick up and get experienced with behavioral, ERP and eye-tracking research methodologies, as well as advanced experiment programming (e.g. MatLab) and data analysis (e.g. STATA) skills.

Weekly lab meeting will be held for RA training or within lab presentation and discussion.
