Grant Hurley
Digital Preservation Librarian, Scholars Portal
Grant Hurley works as the Digital Preservation Librarian at Scholars Portal, the information technology service provider for the Ontario Council of University Libraries. Grant’s responsibilities include leading the Scholars Portal Trustworthy Digital Repository for licensed scholarly publications and running the Permafrost hosted digital preservation service for digital collections held by OCUL members. He serves as a member of numerous committees in the digital preservation and archives communities, including for the Canadian Association of Research Libraries’ Digital Preservation Working Group and the Portage Preservation Expert Group. Grant is also an instructor at the Faculty of Information at the University of Toronto.
