The Dean's Innovation Awards in Diversity and Inclusion fund projects that address challenges in this area and that are aligned with cross-cutting themes of the Harvard Medical School (HMS) strategic goals and the HMS Diversity Statement. Funds are awarded to support pilot/exploratory projects, or projects to enhance or scale existing initiatives. Projects can be small or large and can request funds to be used in any number of creative ways. During review, emphasis is placed on novel, creative, and collaborative solutions that address known challenges and that have the potential to strengthen the culture of diversity and inclusion within the HMS community.
