Join us for a Fireside Chat on the Future of Broadband, Competition, and the FCC with Tom Wheeler, former FCC Chairman

Please join us for a conversation on Why Telco Policy is Relevant to Everything and All of Us moderated by Broadband and Digital Equity Advocate Anne Schwieger with esteemed guest former FCC chairman and Shorenstein Fellow, Tom Wheeler.

A great deal of important progress was made in recent years to advance pro-consumer telco policy at the federal level.  It appears that gains of recent years may be somewhat diminished in the near term. While this potential diminution occurs, we can be sure that technological advances and the way we use technology in each realm of life will continue to march forward.  What should we do?

Tom Wheeler (@tewheels), former Chairman of the FCC and 2017-2018 Walter Shorenstein Media and Democracy Fellow, will be joining us on Monday, October 16th. The event will start at 4:15pm in Taubman T-102 WAPPP Cason Conference Room (map).

Anne Schwieger (@anneschwieger), Broadband and Digital Equity Advocate for the City of Boston Department of Innovation and Technology and 2017-2018 digital HKS Practitioner Affiliate will host the discussion.
