digitalHKS is collaborating with Harvard Kennedy School’s Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy to study platform regulation. A handful of large digital platforms dominate the online public space, drawing increased attention to issues of monopoly power, open markets, and mis- and disinformation. Public leaders need to develop informed approaches to Internet governance, including principles, norms, and decision-making procedures for the Internet as a tool of democracy.
