Making Ties: The Cangdong Village Project Documentary Screening and Discussion

The Harvard Asian Archaeology Seminar Series is hosting a documentary screening and panel discussion of Making Ties: The Cangdong Village Project. This transnational, interdisciplinary project developed to investigate the material practices of Cangdong Village residents during the Late Qing Dynasty (1875-1912) and Early Republic Period (1912-1927). Researchers from both China and the United States includes historians, architectural historians, archaeologists, folklife specialists, botanists, and zoologists.
