The Public Understanding of Religion Committee of the American Academy of Religion (AAR) has named Elisabeth Schüssler Fiorenza, Krister Stendahl Professor of Divinity at Harvard Divinity School, the recipient of the 2012 Martin E. Marty Award for the Public Understanding of Religion.
