Zoey received her B.S in Neuroscience and B.A Honors in Psychology from University of Calgary. She is interested in studying evolutionary biology and interpersonal cognition to understand why people think, prefer, choose, and act the way they do. She has a keen interest in the field of neuroplasticity and, in particular,  in understanding how certain predispositions in childhood and adolescence interact with subtle features of our environment to influence behavior later in life. Her overarching research interests also include learning and memory, attention and visual cognition, as well as information processing and decision making.
