About the Event

The Policy Sprint Fellowship is a pilot program for further developing policy proposals started during the Pandemic Policython. University policy students, primarily for those based in the United States, are welcome to opt-in. This is an opportunity for you, as a student, to learn about policy-building from Policy for the People's mentors and peer mentors. The Policy Sprint Fellowship will also help you go from idea to MVP.

The purpose of mentoring is to provide "thought support" for fellows ideas, and to help guide the Fellows' proposal-writing process. While fellows will also be attending summits/conferences, creating community toolkits, and surveying their areas to build municipal relevance in their proposals, they will also be receiving mentorship/peer mentorship along the way. The Fellowship is tentatively planned to culminate with a pitching event in early May, where fellows can voluntarily present their more-developed proposals to our organizational members and partner network.
