I am interested in how the epigenome may contribute functional effects to unique human phenotypes, and the mechanisms by which modifications to the epigenome may occur. I am particularly curious as to the plasticity of the functional effects of epigenetic shifts, and how environmental factors such as diet, exercise, and age may influence the phenotypes of these effects.
