Because exhibitions are made up of unique objects of varying formats and condition, various factors may alter the timelines recommended in these guidelines. These include, but are not limited to:

• Condition and fragility of collections
• Total number of checklist items for exhibition or loan
• Total number or pieces that require matting and framing (or other complicated cradle and support methods)
• Amount of photography required for online use or publication
