Things are changing everywhere as History Ph.D. programs respond to the brave new world of higher education in the United States. For what kinds of careers should students prepare themselves? Where does one pursue training in the digital humanities? Is it acceptable to publish research in online journals and blogs? Can Ph.D. programs foster collaborative work?
