Thank you for your interest in the Harvard Combined Dermatology Residency Program. We look forward to reading your application.
Again, this year, our interviews and recruitment will be held virtually. We know that these constraints will make it difficult for you to get to know our program. Therefore, we held an informational webinar about our program on Wednesday, September 7, 2022. You can find a recording of a past webinar here. Also, please take some time to review our website and our Welcome Handbook to find out if our program is the right fit for you.
Our program, Harvard Medical School, and all of our affiliate hospitals do not discriminate with regard to sex, race, age, religion, color, national origin, sexual orientation, disability, or veteran status. Every completed application is reviewed; we do not exclude applicants based on type or location of medical school, USMLE scores, or research training. At present, we are not accepting applicants who have completed previous residency training beyond internship with the exception of internal medicine or pediatrics.
We utilize a holistic review process that takes into account all aspects of the application, with a special emphasis on clinical performance, leadership, and community service. We recognize that applicants are offered varying degrees of opportunity based on their educational and personal circumstances, and embrace the diversity that brings to our applicant pool and our residents.
We will be participating in the AAMC’s Supplemental Application program. Preference signaling will not guarantee an interview spot in our program.
We do not offer positions outside of the NRMP Match.
For the upcoming 2022-23 Match season:
· Deadline for applications is October 1, 2022.
· Interview dates for our Advanced Dermatology Program are January 10, 2023 and January 12, 2023.
· Interviews for our Medicine-Dermatology Program are January 9, 2022.
· Interviews and recruitment will be virtual.
We anticipate sending out interview invitations on November 21, as part of the coordinated release. Due to the high number of applications we receive, we regrettably cannot interview many stellar candidates. All applicants will be notified of their interview decision by email.
For further information, please contact our program at email@example.com.
We know that each and every one of you has worked incredibly hard to get to this point in your education, and congratulate you all on your accomplishments. We hope you give our program strong consideration. Best of luck in the application process!
