The Harvard Experiments Working Group is a group of graduate students interested in experimental research. The goal of the Experiments Working Group is to create a community of faculty and graduate students actively engaged in experimental research, make connections to encourage co-authorship, and support development of compelling research projects.

HEWG holds an annual graduate student conference in the spring that brings together graduate students to present high-quality experimental research in a close-knit setting with faculty discussants from across the university. The 2024 conference will be held February 9. Find the program here.

Many papers discussed at HEWG have developed from a glimmer of an idea to a working paper or a journal submission. Some of this research has been published in top political science journals or is currently under review.

HEWG is generously supported by Dustin Tingley, the Institute for Quantitative Social Science, the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs, and the Center for American Political Studies.

HEWG's faculty sponsor is Dustin Tingley, Professor of Government at Harvard University.
