Chandanie (Sean-duh-nay; she/her/hers) is an Ed.M. Candidate in Human Development & Education with a Concentration in Arts & Learning at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She also holds a B.A. in Public Policy Analysis and African Studies from UNC at Chapel Hill. Chandanie has worked in both non-profit and school-based settings throughout New York City. Within the nonprofit sector, she is an experienced youth development professional working at the intersection of empowerment, the arts and social-emotional development in adolescence. She believes in the transformative power of authenticity and relationship building. Chandanie is driven to serve as an Equity and Inclusion Fellow to help organizations develop pathways to systemic change. Through her skills in partnership building, curriculum development, and facilitation, she is interested in creating more equitable school communities and workplaces.
