Ishani Parekh is a Master’s candidate in Education Policy and Analysis at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Warwick (England). As a teacher, social entrepreneur and educator, Ishani’s mission lies in tackling educational inequity and championing deeper learning for all, which has taken her around the world working with marginalised communities. Ishani is a founding director at Revolution Hive, a social enterprise combating educational inequality and empowering youth with an education for real life. Prior to joining HGSE, she also worked as a researcher and facilitator for INvolve, an international DEI consultancy, and for the British Council delivering a Life Skills education programme across the Middle East and North Africa. Ishani is honoured to serve as an Equity and Inclusion Fellow to facilitate conversations about social justice and inequity, grounded in human dignity.
