Justin Babu is an Ed.M. candidate in Human Development and Education with an interest in student experience and human flourishing. A recent graduate of Providence College, Justin served as a Student Diversity Committee Member for the School of Education and Social Work. His other roles as a Peer Study Group Leader, a Student Minister, and the Philanthropic Leadership Fellow for the Providence Shelter for Colored Children served as key experiences that instilled a devotion toward community. As the Principal Investigator for The Be/Longing Laboratory, he conducted research into institutional policies concerning diversity, equity, and inclusion. Justin is also extremely honored to have been a member of the 2022 Frederick Douglass Global Fellowship and a recipient of the 2023 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Vision Award. Justin is eager to serve as an Equity & Inclusion Fellow to further develop his skills as a community advocate and inspire change.
