Chauncey is an Ed.M. candidate in the Education Policy and Analysis program with a concentration in Global and International Comparative Education. For over a decade, Chauncey's heart and soul have been woven into the tapestry of education. She's worn many hats along the way – from molding young minds as a middle school and kindergarten teacher to diving into the intricacies of reading intervention. She's stepped into the role of an instructional coach and even donned the hat of an adjunct professor. Most recently, she's worked in the ed-tech arena, leading initiatives to counteract pandemic-induced learning setbacks in school districts across the nation.

Her passion is ignited by the desire to infuse joy into the lives of black children across the diaspora. She's driven by the belief that all children, regardless of their background, deserve inclusive pathways to success.

As an Equity & Inclusion Fellow, Chauncey is on a quest to cultivate the skills needed to spearhead lasting and impactful changes within global education systems. She's not just dreaming of a brighter future for students worldwide; she's actively working to make it a reality.
