Sara grew up in Pakistan, studied International Relations and Theater at Mount Holyoke College, and is currently in the International Education Policy program at HGSE. As an international student in the U.S., Sara worked to create authentic spaces for dialogue around intersectionality in which the gap between international and domestic students could be bridged. She developed the diversity and inclusion program at Yale-NUS College in Singapore, and has extensive experience in dialogue, facilitation, and curriculum-design for intercultural learning for students, staff, and faculty in international educational institutions outside the U.S. Sara currently oversees student activities and first year programming at NYU Abu Dhabi in the UAE, as part of which she runs dialogue programs and workshops on identity, home, and belonging for first year students and student leaders on campus.
