Jennifer is a culture worker and community arts education professional whose work has spanned museums, youth development non-profits, and Title I schools. She is pursuing her Ed.M in Learning, Design, Innovation, and Technology with the goal of expanding access and belonging within urban art. Most recently, her goals of aligning joy with justice have materialized as leading STEAM museum educators, building community cooking class partnerships, and designing a self-help housing center’s art curricula. She firmly believes that art institutions have a responsibility to elevate the voices and visions of historically marginalized groups, and thus seeks to root systemic change in deep listening that culminates in action. She is an alumna of the Fulbright Program, AmeriCorps, and San Francisco public schools.
