Haŋ mitákuyapi, Tiarra Little emáčiyapi na Lakȟól mičajé kiŋ Maȟpiya Tȟó Wiŋ. Wazí Aháŋhaŋ hemátaŋhaŋ na Wakíyaŋ Opȟá Thípi Uŋšpá el watí. I am Oglála from Thítȟuŋwaŋ (Lakȟóta) homelands within Očéti Šakówiŋ (Seven Council Fires) territory, which overlaps on what is currently known as South Dakota. I am from and continue to live on Wazí Aháŋhaŋ (Pine Ridge).
For undergrad, I graduated with a B.A. in Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity with an emphasis in Education, Access and Equity from Stanford University (situated on traditional and ancestral homelands of the Ohlone people).
At present, I am working towards an Ed.M. in Education Policy and Management at HGSE (situated on traditional and ancestral homelands of the Massachusett people). My most recent areas of work and experience include that in Indigenous community-led school design, Indigenous education policy strategy, D/Lakȟóta education organization development, facilitation, coordination, and mentorship & advising. It is reimagining systems, navigating spaces, healing, continued growth and learning that remain constant throughout my journey.
