Pursuing a master's degree in software engineering, specializing in data science, I am passionate about leveraging data technologies and computational science to advance medical science and health care. My recent research experience has been in computational genomics and medicine, with a focus on elucidating the genetic basis of neuropsychiatric diseases. Studying psychology and sociology at UC Davis as an undergraduate, my previous research areas include mental health associated with child maltreatment, and how group identity is related to subconscious bias. In my spare time, I enjoy fitness activities, photography, and calligraphy.
